Can't believe we're half way through the year! In week 27, the favorite image on social media was "A Boy and His Dog." Of course, pets are usually popular images, and in this shot, the little boy doesn't detract. While this exposure may not be the best, I like the composition of the faces looking in the same direction and the location of the subjects at opposite ends of the image. 

My image of the San Jose Mission, not part of my daily posts, drew a rousing response on social media this week as an inspiration for a delightful watercolor by Becky Hadley, my wife.  I'll show these here for your convenience:
